Description
For extraoral use in the laboratory dental area
SCANTIST 3D Permanent Spray is an extraoral scan spray for use in the dental field, which is used to optimise the scanning quality for CAD / CAM, camera / video recordings, strip light scans, blue light scans, etc.
A coating with the permanent spray improves the optical properties of tooth models, plaster casts, preparations, wax-ups, individual stumps and impressions.
Very fine homogeneous coating
The Dental Scan Spray forms a homogeneous and very fine matting layer on the object. This prevents reflections and reflections and the object can be scanned exactly. Subtleties in geometry and surface are not affected and can be visualized true to the original.
A special valve with a fine nozzle allows the spray to be applied precisely and efficiently to even the smallest of parts.
SCANTIST 3D Permanent Spray contains pigments, but no harmful titanium dioxide (TiO2). The coating remains on the surface after the scanning process and can be cleaned with a soft brush and a damp cloth.
Application of SCANTIST 3D Permanent Spray
1. Shake → Shake the spray can until you hear a clear sound.
2. Application → Apply the spray evenly from a distance of 5-10 cm. Spray the entire surface to be scanned.
SCANTIST 3D Spray is applied wet. The solvent vaporises within a few seconds, while the pigments contained remain as a coating on the surface.
If drops form on the scanned object, or if the applied matting stays "wet" for a longer time, increase the spray distance or increase the spray speed. The ideal ambient temperature is 21 °C / 69.8 °F.
Note that multiple sprays increase layer thickness.
3. Scanning → When the spray is completely dry, your model can be scanned.
4. Remove → The Permanent Spray is a permanent scanning spray.
The coating can be removed after use with a soft brush and a damp cloth.
