Phaetus Rapido Plus Hotend 2 UHF, Black

The 24 V Phaetus Rapido Plus Hotend 2 is the perfect choice for printing with high-temperature and fibre filaments! It is compatible with a wide range of materials and is designed for temperatures of up to 350°C.

There are two versions of the Rapido Plus Hotend 2:

• Rapido Plus Hotend 2 HF (High Flow):

The HF version is compatible with V6 nozzles.

• Rapido Plus Hotend 2 UHF (Ultra High Flow):

The UHF version is also compatible with V6 nozzles. The enclosed V6-compatible extension groove made of clad copper is required for quick nozzle changes.

New heating block design for high-speed printing

The new design of the heating block has a larger melting zone to meet the requirements of high-speed and high-temperature printing.

Titanium heatbreak tube

Compared to the stainless steel heatbreak of the Rapido Plus Hotend, Rapido Plus Hotend 2 has a heatbreak tube made of strong and lightweight titanium. This robust material is characterised by lower thermal conductivity and lower cooling capacity as well as excellent thermal insulation. This ensures better extrusion control and higher print quality.

The optimised structure also reduces the risk of deformation and clogging.

Ceramic heater

The 88 W ceramic heater of the Rapido Plus Hotend 2 has a planar structure, which offers high reliability and a higher heating capacity. For example, it takes just 35 seconds for the heating element to reach an incredible 200°C!

► In the optimised version of the Hotend, improvements have been made to the heating unit by adjusting the position of the temperature sensor to obtain more accurate temperature measurements.

Removable thermistor

Rapido Plus Hotend 2 utilises a removable PT1000 thermistor that is easy to maintain and replace.

Quick change between high-flow & ultra-high-flow printheads

A unique structural design enables fast switching between high-flow and ultra-high-flow printheads. The different nozzle types meet the requirements of high-temperature and fibre filament printing.

The included adapter allows you to quickly switch between hotends to meet your requirements. You can set the optimum flow rate with just a few simple turns.

One-handed nozzle-change

The titanium alloy screws, which ensure a firm connection between the heating block and heat sink, are characterised by low thermal conductivity. This rigid structure makes it easy to change nozzles with just one hand.

Caution! Even though Rapido Plus Hotend and Rapido Plus Hotend 2 have the same dimensions, their heating element and heatsink are different. Therefore, they cannot be used interchangeably.

Tip: The maximum flow rate for extrusion is 36 mm³/s.
