Description

Very strong & rigid

Spectrum PET CF15 is a black coloured material based on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) that has been mixed with carbon fibres. It is easy to print and has better temperature resistance and mechanical properties than PET-G based materials.

The material presents no retraction problems when printed and does not require a heating chamber. The perfect surface finish of the printed parts reduces the need for further treatments.

Spectrum PET CF15 is compatible with substrates such as HIPS-X and can be used to print very strong and rigid objects. It is characterised by a small influence of humidity and temperature on the dimensions.

In order to achieve the attractive properties of Spectrum PET CF15 from a technical point of view, the basic storage rules for such materials must be observed (in a dry and dark place with humidity below 15%). In order to get the best possible parameters of the print object, it is recommended to dry the material before use.

Note: Due to the high carbon fibre content, nozzles with a larger diameter than the standard 0.4mm should be used. In addition, the addition of abrasive carbon fibres can lead to increased die wear, which is why the use of hardened steel or ruby nozzles is recommended for processing Spectrum PET CF15.
