Not the best for the price.
Rated with 2 out of 5 stars.
Product itself had great potential but as others have pointed out it has some serious flaws and lack of individual tunning.
Biggest issue:
- Noise: I don't understand that today, we couldn't afford ball bearing fans that don't sound like a jet engine in room that is closed. It far too loud for what its doing.
- Temeprature: Horrid temperature adjustment, and I mean it. I do not understand why wasn't there an option to manually adjust the temeprature rather than having 3 vague bars. Its crazy actually.
- Stiffnes of box lids: As other have pointed out the latch that hooks are so firm and tight I'm just waiting for it to brake. It is too strong, or the tolerances are too tight
- Beeps: Sin and should be able to disable it
- Display: By itself is very bad, its like an old alarm clock, where god forbid you glance it from any other angle than the front, and you can't see anything really.
Good:
- It drys the filament, and the storage all in all is nice.
- The modularity is a good idea but again with these fatal flaws this is quite bad.Was this rating helpful? (3) (2)

Unbearably Noisy: Polymaker's Filament Dryer Disappoints
Rated with 2 out of 5 stars.
I had high hopes for Polymaker's filament dryer, but it fell short of my expectations. The noise level is unbearable, making it impossible to work in the same room without getting distracted. Additionally, when the filament runs out, the compartment falls to the side, which is quite inconvenient. However, the noise issue is the real dealbreaker. It felt like I was serving the machine rather than it serving me. For the same price range, there are other options that do a much better job.

very good idea
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
I have used this for less than a month, and I must say I like the idea, and it functions well, it's not as loud as I though it to be. I like how tight is the seal, even if it's a little strong to handle (open/close) anyway, once the spool is dry in the box, why would one need to open the box, the filament can be used directly from the box.

low quality product
Rated with 2 out of 5 stars.
I bought this unit but it has some flaws.
- the fan is really loud compared to almost silent ender printer or even relativly noisy P1S. Why it has to move that much air? (Im consiering Noctua fan but it is another 20Eur to this already pricy thing)
- The display is worst I've ever seen. It can be only seen from front. From all other angles, you see segmets that should be clear and segmets that should be black are gray as background.
- beeping scares a creep of me ! It is super loud an beeps 3 times / imagine it in the middle of the night.
- the last one are top clips whitch are super stiff so it makes loud noise while closing or opening and I'm afraid that it will cause the container to crack after a while.
And also the power (temperature) could be a bit bit higher. And the last little thing is power supply brick without cable cord to the mains. It is big and bulky and in conflict with 2 side sockets.
Such a good idea, but I have higher expectations from well-known company :-(
I would also suggest the autostart functionality with last settigns so it can be controlled using a smart socket, e.g. Shelly. or embed a small ESP32 instead of poor display...Was this rating helpful? (25) (7)

Fault with Polymaker
Rated with 2 out of 5 stars.
I was excited to receive my Polydryer as it is my first filament dryer and I am keen to print TPU and PETG HF, which require drying before use. I connected the new dryer and set it on option 2 to dry PETG for 6 hours. After 2 hours it stopped, and an error message appeared "E001" on the screen. I contacted Polymaker Service Centre as advised in the instruction manual, and they told me that fault (E001) meant there was a problem with the fan and that I shouldn't use it. They said they would arrange for a new complementary unit to be sent to me, but that as I was in the UK, rather than the USA, it would have to be sent direct from China. That was 3 weeks ago, and it still hasn't been shipped. So, I'm still not able to print my PETG or TPU! To summarise, the Polydryer looks to be very good, but mine doesn't actually work!
