Complete garbage printer and waste of time. Spent a few months adjusting it from:
Cura, simplify 3d and prusalicer profile
Adjusted the z gantry everywhere, extruder, calibrations etc.
Bothing seems to work.
It was it is, but i give it 1 star for customer service. If somwthing goes wrong customer service will offer you a sheet to reinstall the firmware, adjust basic stuff and that's all.
3 diff filament brand and all the rolls sealed.
It underextrudes (incomplete walls after retraction) z banding.
They asked me to keep the e steps from firmware where two walls that should be 0.8mm were in reality 0.7mm, and they advised to scale the model...not sure if this is close to normal. It's normal for quality to miss issues but for the company to not assume the fault it's unacceptable.
It looks good and all the functions work, i like the printer but because it doesn't print good it's useless.
I will stay away from elegoo, especially that i wanted to buy a resin printer from them as well.Was this rating helpful? (1) (9)

Skrivaren fungerar bra men känns som skrivaren saknar egenskaper som 300C hotend, filament sensor sitter lite skumt, E-Step var inte i närheten korrekt samt att X axeln var inte helt rak från fabriken.

I recently purchased this printer. No issues with shipping. No issue assemblying. Very happy! Printed already with PLA and PET. So far no issues with printer. Intuitive, easy to use!!! Recomended!!!:) NOTE: New version of ultimaker cura has already the profile for this printer.

The extruder cable was faulty. It broke after the 3rd print. But Elegoo replaced it for free (well... but it took a month).

Amazing beginner printer

if you are a beginner this is the printer for you i had it up and running in 15 minutes. the deafult slicer settings work ok i am using prusaslicer but if you are beginner it works well and iim 2 months in with no maintenance exept tightening the wheels and greasing the printer

My first ever 3d printer so easy to set up 30 minutes and it was up and running. 15 prints in and no major problems so for what great machine.

I bought this as a 1st printer and I must say it has been great. Super easy to setup and great quality to begin with.
Pros.
- Easy and fast setup
- Easy to use
- Great price
- Sturdy and well design(built) printer
- Easy navigation
Cons.
- I wouldn't call this a silent one( I have no previous experience with printers thought.)
- MicroSD reader/card is crappy. Constant reading problems

I am one of these late adopters and bought the printer following a colleague's recommendation. It worked out for me!
+ It is straightforward to set up following the packaged manual and video on the support pages of Elegoo
+ Easy and effective leveling procedure
+ The test print (the Buddha) worked out very well
- The SD card slot is somewhat tricky to use
- The test filament is so few; make sure to order some more
Would I recommend the printer to a friend? Absolutely!
