Large version unusable
Rated with 4 out of 5 stars.
The large version has no bearings, which makes it unusable with heavy spools. The axle screws have metal to metal contact with the frame, which causes too much friction for a scrawny extruder motor to pull from a 8 kg spool.
Makes for a decent starting point for a DIY build though, since the axlescrews are perfect size for cheap 608 bearings, you have to print your own rollers though since the provided ones have an inner diameter that is too small to house 608 bearings. Was this rating helpful? (4) (2)

Great spoolholderi!
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
Much better than the basic spool holder from Creality (I took the biggest version, so I can use the 4kg spools on it)
