Revell Apollo 11 Spacecraft & Interior

On the 16th of July, at 9:32 in the morning, the gigantic Saturn V rocket left the launch pad at Cape Canaveral. It would become one of the defining voyages in human history. The Apollo space ship that transported the astronauts to the moon consisted of two main components. The command capsule and the service module. The command capsule housed the living quarters and cockpit for the three astronauts, The oxygen and power were provided by the service module, which also contained the main power supply.

Just moments before re-entry the command capsule was seperated from the service module. Only the command capsule returned to earth and landed safely in the Pacific Ocean using parachutes.
