  You need to update the firmware yes but only to set the max temperature, everything else doesn't require a firmware update and it is totally compatible with the 4.2.7 board

  You can use either, the firmware is the same :)
Do you have replacement parts other stores have parts that they send with a short cr touch cable and sorter bots so it can go all the way on x on and ender 3 / v2

  Not perfectly, the CR-10S has a 12v system so if you try to use this with the CR-10S then you'll need to change the fans and heating cartridge which is a bit tricky as the fans are not the standard Creality fans.
Is this fit ender 3max with no problems?

  Yes it comes it a mount that replaces the original hotend assembly so it will fit no problem.
Does this include the cable to connect a CR-Touch / BL-Touch to the daughterboard on the extruder? If not, do you stock this in 3D Jake to be bought separately?

  No, it does not. Just received my kit. You'll need to connect the CR Touch directly to the controller board, by routing it together with the ribbon. Or buy the short cable from somewhere else.

  As of 10.17.2022, YES. I just bought 2 for upgrades and the CR-Touch to Sprite daughterboard cable IS INCLUDED.
