Qidi Tech X-Max is a huge premium 3D printer with closed space for industrial users or hobbyists with the highest demands.

Huge enclosed space
With a construction volume of 300 x 250 x 300 mm, the Qidi Tech X-Max is capable of realising huge models.
Two Direct Drive Extruders
Normal: For materials like PLA, ABS and TPU.
High Temperature: For special materials such as nylon, carbon fibre and PC.
Internal and external filament holder
Place your special filaments such as nylon, carbon fibre or PC within the installation space, as they require constant temperatures.
An external filament holder is provided for filaments such as PLA, TPU or PETG, which ensures smooth running.
Qidi Tech build plate: Magnetic, removable, flexible
The integrated build plate is a custom creation by Qidi Tech, so that you can easily and safely remove your finished print. Using specially developed magnetic technology, the build plate is not only easy to remove, but also practical to reuse. In addition, the Qidi Tech build plate is coated on both sides to meet the necessary requirements for any printing material.
Easy handling
Qidi Tech X-Max has a large, coloured 5-inch touchscreen for easy operation and adjustment. The automatic levelling, with which you can conveniently adjust your printing platform, is also particularly practical.
WiFi connection
Intelligent networking and saving time. Print your works via WiFi and monitor the work of your Qidi Tech X-Max conveniently via your PC monitoring interface.

Run a few PLA and PETG models on this after having it for a couple of weeks. Previous had a Zortrax M200 which is now past its best and kept breaking so it was time for an upgrade. First impressions are good. Software slicer works well, Unit is solid and well built. Platform nice and the 4 pillar support makes it more sturdy, Easy to level, load and change filaments. Touch panel control easy to use and shows a preview thumbnail of the print which is nice touch when scrolling your print files. Magnet platform works well for PLA and nice to not have to print a raft first. First large (200 x 150mm PLA print free of warp to). PET G stuck to the white side though on first print. Pretty fast response from the Qidi support team to recommend how to fix with some 3M tape and to slightly increase the nozzle offset for PET. Seems to have worked but need a few more runs to optimise set-up as had a little warp on a larger PETG print of the first try using some Airtech Flashbreaker high temp tape had to hand. Need to now try the 3M tape the Qidi team recommend as may grip a bit better.

This printer worked straight out the box with no fuss and no tweaking. I get really good PA12-CF prints as well as PLA and PETG. The printer is well made and the quality is visible. I contacted the after-sales people to ask a question and they responded straight away.

The X-MAX is a great printer for all filaments from PLA and ABS to Nylon.
QIDI offers excellent customer support and I had replacement parts sent to me free of charge along with clear explanations on how to fix my problems.Was this rating helpful? (1) (0)

Have use the printer for a while now have some great work from it.
Glad I did my research on printers first, could not have picked a better one. And getting it of 3D Jake site was a breeze, top quality from start to Finnish. 5 Star. This printer prints pla,tpu, petg, Carbon Fiber, Nylon, ASA,ABS,...
Can print perfect figurers to large functional prints.
I currently printing more in PETG than pla even figures.
Printed TPU A82 so that is really flexible, Printed without skipping steps.
Fast Leveling printer. Easy with leveling paper and on touch screen Calibration. Never needed the manual Knobs (is possible to do it that way But i like the easy way)
Fast and good support by e-mail. (my request was answered in less than 30 minutes and was good , and they also follow up)
The printer arrives fully assembled and ready to print.
Price vs Quality and support no doubt 5 stars.
Who would i advise this printer. From a beginner to a professional that have the room for this big boy.
Its so easy to have a good prints if you respect the basics of 3D printing.
Any improvemts possible, sure and like for every 3d printer on earth on thingerverse you find improvement prints. Is a part of fun in 3D printing.
