• Is this a true all metal hot end or does it have a PTF tube in it like the original?

    It uses a tube but it stays well above the hot zone so higher temps are possible

• Will this work on my QIDI Pro and if so is that all I need to replace? Also will the firmware neeed to be updated?

    No it will not. X-PRO has a dual extruder and heat block.

• What about the x-smart? I need to upgrade the extruder to all metal hotend and I cannot find anything

    I just bought this for my I-mate S, and it fits fine. I've done about 20-30hrs of printing with it so far.
