Pellet 3D printing is a 3D printing process that uses thermoplastics in the form of granules or pellets instead of filaments to complete an object layer by layer. This type of additive manufacturing involves lower material costs and shorter manufacturing times but requires a special pellet extruder with an integrated hopper.
