Captivating Color, Yet Challenging to Print
Rated with 3 out of 5 stars.
I was drawn to the vibrant blue hue of this filament, but printing with it proved to be incredibly difficult. To start, it requires unusually low temperatures—around 200ºC for the nozzle and 55ºC for the bed—which is atypical for PLA filaments. Even at these temperatures, the filament struggles to adhere to PEI print sheets. I found that satin-textured print sheets worked somewhat better, but I still experienced numerous failed prints due to poor first-layer adhesion.
The alluring color was the only factor that motivated me to persist in attempting to print with this filament.
I strongly discourage beginners from using this filament, as it can be exceedingly frustrating to work with. (Printed on a Prusa MK3S+ at 200ºC nozzle temperature and 55ºC bed temperature.)
