E3D V6 Gold Hotend - 1.75 mm, 24V

The best V6 parts, carefully selected to create the V6 Gold HotEnd. Developed for outstanding performance with all filaments, optimised for high temperature and abrasive 3D printing. Only suitable for 1.75 mm filament.

To celebrate the third birthday of the E3D V6, we wanted to do something special to showcase the HotEnd that created an entire ecosystem. The Gold Edition V6 is more than just a piece of jewellery. It has been upgraded with some of the best components from E3D, and at a lower price than buying individual components. We have upgraded the following components to get the best results.

01. Golden heat sink

We have spruced up the heat sink with a gold anodised coating for that added bling effect!

02. Heating block

We replaced the aluminium heating block with a coated copper-alloy block, which again increases heat transfer to the filament and reduces the likelihood that the filament will stick. This reduces the need for a silicone sock so you don't have to hide the shiny engraving.

03. Nozzle

The standard brass nozzle was exchanged for hardened steel. While brass nozzles can be worn and even destroyed by abrasive materials, hardened steel lasts a lifetime. If you print with carbon fibre, filled filaments or filaments that glow in the dark, these nozzles are a must.

04. Heating cartridge

We have exchanged standard heaters for our new high-precision quick-change heating cartridges. Precise dimensions and electrical specifications guarantee perfect performance. The quick-release fastener makes tinkering with your HotEnd child's play.

05. Fan duct
A clear shaped plastic fan duct shows the beautiful golden heat sink from its best side.

06. PTFE hose

We have converted the standard PTFE guide to Capricorn PTFE hoses with an exact tolerance. This new Bowden cable has a narrow diameter and greatly reduced friction, which results in a smoother and more precise extrusion.
