Description
The Revo Micro Full Kit consists of the Revo Micro Hotend and all 4 associated Revo nozzles (0.25 mm, 0.4 mm, 0.6 mm, 0.8 mm). The hotend and Revo nozzles are also available separately.

The Revo Micro is a hotend that uses the smallest and lightest heat sink that E3D has ever produced. With a weight of only 30 g you can get higher speeds out of your setup with Revo Micro.
Compatible with Bowden or Direct Drive setup
Revo Micro can be adapted to Bowden or direct drive setups and is fully compatible with the Revo system, so you can easily switch nozzles with your fingers without tools.

Titanium-like performance
A special manufacturing process gives the aluminium hotend the strength and low thermal conductivity of titanium without actually being titanium.
Quick nozzle change
Change the nozzles quickly and easily with your fingers. No complicated tools, no hot tightening. Revo nozzles form a closed system of nozzle and heat break, which prevents undesired material leakage. Assembly is incredibly easy.
Revolutionary heating
The Revo HeaterCore heats up in seconds. Thanks to the positive temperature coefficient (PTC), the Revo HeaterCore works more safely than comparable solutions on the market.
Black anodised heat sink
With the black anodised heat sink, the hotend not only runs cool, but it also looks cool.
Flexible for every setup

Convenient.

Changing nozzles has never been so simple. And performance seems better than my old V6.
But for some reason I do need to recalibrate the printbed after changing nozzles. May be the printbed's fault. Calibration needs to be checked every now and then anyway.
Also the heat sink cooling fan is 5V, which I haven't seen specified anywhere. Luckily, a 5V regulator board is included, but having to stuff it into the printhead was a minor inconvenience. Thankfully the smaller size of the heatsink and fan made it possible.
The heat sink is a lot smaller than the old threaded V6. A bit shorter too, but I made it work with my old printhead just using a single 1mm thick spacer under the thread. So yes, this is a drop-in replacement for threaded V6, in case someone wonders.Was this rating helpful? (1) (0)
