Description
40 grams weight with standard interface design
The hotend is manufactured in a modular standard interface design and is ready to use out of the box! Besides its small size of 51 x 22 x 18 mm, the hotend is incredibly light with a weight of only 40 grams!
High-quality nozzle for exceptional print quality
The nozzle of the Spider Speedy Ceramic Hotend is made of hardened steel. Thanks to an inner wall roughness of Ra0.25 and a bi-metallic heat break, the hotend ensures outstanding print quality!
High thermal conductivity with uniform heating
The hotend features a cylindrical ceramic heating ring, which not only improves heating efficiency and reduces heat loss, but also provides more uniform heating and faster heat transfer. As a result, the hotend, which can withstand temperatures of up to 300 °C, takes only 40 seconds to reach 200 °C.
Large melting range and high flow rate for high-speed printing of 400 mm/s
The melting range of the Spider Speedy Ceramic Hotend has been increased by as much as 30%, bringing it to 27.8 mm. A temperature-resistant insulating film maintains the temperature of the fusion area so that high-speed prints of up to 400 mm/s can be achieved.
The base of the hotend is made of a titanium alloy, reducing thermal conductivity by 30% as well as ensuring a smooth filament feed.
Bi-metal heatbreak for temperature resistance up to 300 °C
The heatbreak is made of titanium and copper alloys. These are temperature resistant up to 300 °C and therefore also compatible with a wide range of filaments: PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, PP, PC, Nylon, PEEK, PEI, etc.
The 0.2 mm thin wall thickness contributes to the outstanding thermal insulation.
Higher strength and longer life
The heat break and heat sink fit perfectly inside the titanium alloy hotend base to avoid pressure between them. The strength has also been tweaked to extend the life of the hotend.
Structural upgrade for faster heat dissipation
The heat sink has been increased in size by 30%. The result is optimised heat dissipation and smoother filament delivery.
