Description
The LW-ASA material can increase its volume by almost 2.5 times. That means parts can be printed with a reduced flow rate of up to 40%. Filament density is around 1.07 g / cm3, but when foamed at maximum capacity and printed at 40% flow, users get a part density close to 0.43 g / cm3.
Like normal ASA materials, LW-ASA is characterised by good UV stability and a high-temperature resistance of 96 ° C. You can be assured that this material can handle elevated temperatures better than the colorFabb LW-PLA.
LW-ASA is more prone to warping compared to LW-PLA type filaments. Large models, in particular, can shrink and warp when printing, but in most cases, it is less than ABS.
