Description
Chaoticlab's CNC-machined Voron Tap V2 is a feather-light design where the entire tool head moves to trigger an optical sensor. To ensure greater precision and accuracy with a Voron 3D printer, V2 has been optimised with some sophisticated upgrades compared to the previous version:
► OMRON EE-SX4320
Voron Tap V2 features the OMRON EE-SX4320 optical micro switch, which impresses with high reliability and accuracy. Unlike the previous version, which was designed for 5V with its OMRON D2FP-FN2, this version expands the voltage range to 5-24V to ensure more flexibility.
► HIWIN MGN7H linear rails
The lightweight and compact design of the robust HIWIN MGN7H linear rails minimises print head weight and loss of Y-axis travel. Steel thread inserts are integrated into the V2 carrier plate in order to stabilise the print head so that it is rock solid. This also gives it outstanding input shaper data, among other things. The design has also been upgraded with trapezoidal magnetic limit switches for greater accuracy.
► Light as a feather
Voron Tap V2 is feather-light at 65 g, which means it does not add any additional mass to the tool head.
► Unchanged XY path
Full range of motion and build capacity are retained to fully utilise the capabilities of a Voron printer.
Uncomplicated installation
To ensure that the assembly of the Voron Tap V2 remains as simple and uncomplicated as possible, the build was retrofitted with 4 pre-installed screws. A metal bracket for the X-axis limit switch is included.
Tip: With intuitive indicator light ⇒ red for trigger, blue for open.
Here you will find various manuals and other instructions for the Voron Tap V2.

Horrible delivery service from Fedex
Rated with 2 out of 5 stars.
I've yet to receive the product and I've been tried to reach Fedex on different occasions.
I've also been at home "while they have tried to deliver the product" and they didn't even try to contact me before the flagged it as "customer not available"...
Quite annoying for sure.
