Description
Silk filaments from AzureFilm consist of a special material mixture with special additives and are characterised by their easy processing. The filament can be printed similarly to normal PETG. It has excellent properties and does not shrink or warp when printed.
Due to its silky appearance, the user-friendly filament is particularly suitable for models that require a glossy finish.
The end product is not only aesthetically pleasing, but transitions between the layers are also successfully concealed.

Brilliant Shiny Filament with Elevated Printing Temperature Requirements
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
AzureFilm's silk filaments are truly impressive with their radiant shine. Both the sides and top and bottom portions of prints look exceptional.
However, it's crucial to print this filament at the specified higher temperatures (230ºC nozzle, 80ºC bed) which are atypical for PLA. Using standard PLA settings will result in poor bed adhesion and a lack of the extraordinary shiny finish.
While AzureFilm's Silk filaments may not be the best choice for beginners due to the unique temperature requirements, they remain my top pick when seeking vibrant colors and a stunning shiny surface.
