Description
The famous BLTouch sensor from ANTCLABS from South Korea! The BLTouch is a 3D printer bed levelling sensor that enables automatic bed levelling on your 3D printer regardless of the printing surface.
BLTouch is an automatic level sensor for 3D printers, with which the inclination of the bed surface can be measured precisely. It can work with all types of print bed surfaces such as glass, blue tape or other materials.
Easy installation
The BL Touch has two wiring groups, one with three and one with two wires. The group of three wires is a standard servo connection and the group of two wires is a switch. The probe is controlled via the servo connection and extended and retracted if necessary. The switch notifies the printer when the probe has touched the bed. Consult the documentation of your switch module to find out where these cables can be connected. The exact function of the individual wires is listed in the manual. When installing on your hotend, make sure that the extended probe reaches under the nozzle, otherwise the probe is unusable! Be sure to test this visually before trying to use the BLTouch.
The BLTouch is connected to the control board of your 3D printer via four pins and has the following functions:
- Brown & Black: Grounding
- Red: 5 V
- Orange: control signal
- White: Z-min
Note that depending on your 3D printer, a firmware update may be required for the BLTouch to work properly.
Functions
The main functions of BLTouch are the same as with conventional automatic level sensors. BLTouch can, therefore, be used on almost any printer.
BLTouch has a simple structure and high precision thanks to the use of a progressively designed solenoid and Hall sensor. It aims for ease of use and pleasant printing by incorporating many intelligent functions such as self-test, alarm, alarm triggering and touch switch mode, blue LED for the display of the servo signal and Z-Probe (Zmin) tests.

BLTouch leveling sensor
Rated with 4 out of 5 stars.
Installing the sensor is easy, it took some fiddling to press the wires all the way trough the wrap to the print head, as I did not like to attach them on the outside with some tie wraps. I used the 2 black connectors to connect the sensor to the print, but those are very loose, you have to use some glue. Later I found a 5 pin connecter in the package, should be better to take the effort to attach that to the wires. After installing the necessary firmware, the sensor worked, but it took some try and error to find the way to adjust the offset the proper way and to the proper value. But as soon as all was done, the system works fine, and print results are very good.

BL Touch on Ender 3 v2
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
This is a fantastic addition to my 3d printer, as others have said it is a must have really.
Not the product itself but as there are so many versions of the Ender took a lot of research to figure out exactly how to fit and get the right firmware. In the end I used Smith3D and am pleased I did. Added some very helpful firmware features to help level the bed and use the BL Touch. I hope this helps someone else. Was this rating helpful? (5) (0)

BT Touch
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
Installed on my Creality Ender 3, remove most of the bed leveling work (I'm using Marlin UBL system) and greatly improve bed adhesion by dealing with first layer bed levell.
Every printer should have it!Was this rating helpful? (4) (0)

Ender 3 V2
Rated with 2 out of 5 stars.
The included cable is extremely short and it doesn’t include a bracket so you can‘t mount it. Printed the bracket myself and have to wait for a new cable now… Can‘t say anything to the function, cause i couldn‘t test it yet.
