Description
Our solution to adhesion problems!
Everyone knows the problems where the first layers don't stick or that the finished model is really difficult to remove. On behalf of all makers, we now offer our solution to these problems with our specially developed glass plate. Forget about the short-term solutions of glue sticks, blue tapes or sprays, with this product you have a long-term solution!
This glass plate is made of tempered glass, which has a hardness of 8 Mohs, to guarantee both quality in use and durability over time.
This glass plate is coated with special micropores, which have excellent adhesion when printing. After cooling, the adhesion decreases and the finished model can be removed safely and easily. With our special coating, we use the principle of thermal expansion and contraction to increase or decrease the adhesion as required.
Smooth surface
Thanks to the smooth surface, your print results have a very smooth bottom and, in addition to the advantage of adhesion, it also increases the aesthetics look of your printed piece.
Top-quality
Our glass plates are made of high quality, tempered glass and every single glass plate is checked after production to ensure that the surface is even and within the tolerance of 0.2 mm. (Usually, we produce these under a tolerance of 0.1 mm)
Ease of use
- Our glass plate can be used universally on any printer. Simply choose the right dimensions for your printer.
- After receiving the glass plate, you can simply attach it to the platform with clips.
- Place your printhead upon the glass plate. The distance of the nozzle should be set so that a normal sheet of paper fits just in between.
- Always let the finished model cool down first after printing so that the adhesion is reduced again and you can easily remove the model. Most of the time, a spatula is not even necessary.
- The glass plate can be easily cleaned with diluted alcohol up to 60% and a microfibre cloth.
When 3D printing with PETG, damage to the glass plate can occur due to the increased adhesion.
The glass plate with coating was tested up to a heating bed temperature of 100 ° C.
Caution: Cleaning with acetone can damage the plate / coating.

Nice plate, but poor coating
Rated with 2 out of 5 stars.
Plate is of nice finish, beautifully made. Sticks well, but unfortunately the prints won't come off without a spatula even when completely cooled (left on cold garage floor). Coat gets ruined after 1 use. Plate has a clean glass side, so you can still use it as your glued plate, but it doesn't work as advertised.

Good but fragile
Rated with 1 out of 5 stars.
Hidden at the bottom of the page in small print, it says acetone may damage the build surface. It's too late for that. I don't know how to clean this surface but I've just killed it now so it's too late

Works great
Rated with 4 out of 5 stars.
works just as described. For PETG I had to squish the first layer a litter more than I would normally do and therefore slow down the first layer speed to prevent the filament from sticking to the nozzle, but with those changes the print sticks to the bed and pops off when cooled down. For PLA no need to change any settings.

3d Jake Glass Plate for cr10s pro v2
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
This is a superb upgrade and has let me avoid any adhesion issues and my prints just pop off easily. Works amazing both with magigoo & 3dlac but tbh, even works without either Top drawer upgrade, well worthwhile!

Superb, no more glue!
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
Really good product, have it on a Tarantula Pro and have the bed @ 50c. Leave to cool once the print is finshed and it literally pops off the place - no more Pritt needed! :-)
