Description
Reduced plastic content
PolyTerra PLA is a bioplastic 3D printing filament in which organic materials have been combined with PLA to reduce the plastic content and develop a more environmentally friendly filament.
Easy processing
PolyTerra prints just like PLA, so no print settings need to be changed and the overhang and bridging functions can even outperform PLA. With a wide printing temperature range from 190 to 230 ° C, PolyTerra can be processed on any extrusion-based 3D printer.
Versatile use
The mechanical properties of PolyTerra offer a wide range of possible applications as the material is tougher than normal PLA and still retains good rigidity. Both figures and fixtures can be printed with excellent results.

Prints very nice!
Rated with 4 out of 5 stars.
I used the profile on Polymaker's website and this filament printed just fine. It also leaves a nice matt finish.
The only thing that might be a problem is the fact that the printed surfaces aren't perfectly smooth. Rather they appear slightly textured. This may be a problem in applications that need low friction/tight tolerances.
But for more astatic prints (+some functional parts), works great and print fantastic! Was this rating helpful? (0) (0)

Polymaker PolyTerra PLA
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
I can't rate this enough, not just for how good it looks when printed but how eco friendly the whole product is.
From packaging to biodegradable filament Polymaker have their sights set on making all their products as eco friendly as possible.
Lets not forget the diverse colour range of 10 Regular Colours & 4 Pastel Colours.
Printed at 0.16mm gives a lovely finish and print lines are hardly noticeable. Easy processing and good rigidity make this and ideal substitute to standar PLA filaments. Was this rating helpful? (1) (0)

solid choice
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
Predictable printing behaviour, great overhangs, nice matt finish and colours.
Sticks really well on a glass plate, but maybe too well. Nothing a few minutes in the freezer can't fix.
Great value.Was this rating helpful? (0) (0)

Awesome.
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
Polymaker Polyterra was the first filament I used and it remains a favourite. They have a lovely Matt finish and very easy to print. They also seem impervious to exposure to the atmosphere. These are the only filaments that I’ve ever left out for months and still print like they did on day one.

Disappointed
Rated with 2 out of 5 stars.
I bought this filament basing on positive reviews, but I'm disappointed. Compared to the sample I got from 3D printer manufacturer (also PLA, from Elegoo), this filament is more brittle, breaks quicker when extended, it's easier to scratch the printed elements, and although the print using manufacturers' filament was perfect, with this filament it has imperfections in layers.
