The MK8 nozzle set consists of the complete BROZZL MK8 nozzle series and contains 12 different nozzles. (except Ruby nozzles)
MK8 Brass Nozzle
The most popular nozzles are still made of brass. Why? Because the material is quite cheap despite numerous positive characteristics.
The brass material conducts heat perfectly and does not corrode with standard filament. Thus, it has the best conditions for the most common materials such as PLA, ABS, PETG and more making it wonderful to work with.
Unfortunately, brass is reaching its limits with abrasive particle materials. Metal, wood, carbon or glow in the dark filaments can be too much for brass to handle.
Nonetheless, the brass nozzles remain our absolute all-rounder and belong to every printer out there.
MK8 Copper Plated Nozzles
The Copper Plated Nozzles combine the excellent heat conduction of copper and are also extremely resistant due to the coating of nickel. Thus, two of the most important properties are combined in one nozzle and thus it is also possible to print abrasive filaments at high speed.
We recommend Copper Plated nozzles for all abrasive and non-abrasive filaments. For our printers, we like to use Copper Plated nozzles and achieve an incredible performance time and time again.
MK8 Hardened Steel Nozzles
Hardened steel nozzles are perfect for processing filaments with abrasive particles. The specially hardened steel nozzles are virtually indestructible in the area of 3D printing. Whether glow-in-the-dark, carbon, metal or wood filaments - hardened steel nozzles are just right. Hardened steel is barely worn out by abrasive filament and our experience has shown that a nozzle made of this material may last longer than a printer itself. So if you're not just working with standard materials, then these hardened steel nozzles with different nozzle diameters will be in your Repertoire.
